Removal of dormant applications detected as of 31 December 2022

by SSG | December 22, 2022

Overview

As part of SSG-WSG Developer Portal’s housekeeping exercise, dormant applications subscribing to SSG-WSG APIs that have been left unmanaged and not removed by the consumers (i.e. dormant for the past 12 months (as of 31 Dec 2022)) will be removed progressively.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Consumers are to take note of the below: • Applications that have not made any API calls (for all the APIs subscribed) for the past 12 months (as of 31 Dec 2022) will be removed.

Emails will be sent out to API subscribers (using Corppass) who have dormant applications to inform them of the removal. Once the dormant applications are deleted, you will not have access to the APIs, nor will your application be able to call the APIs.

Should you require the APIs access again, you will need to create another application and re-subscribe to the APIs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Keep a lookout for an email notification from SSG that informs you of the removal of your dormant application, if any.

For GitHub users, please note that the email to notify about the removal of applications will only be sent to Corppass users. Dormant applications of GitHub users will also be removed.

As a subscriber of SSG-WSG Developer Portal, you will receive regular email updates on all API updates. Please check your inbox regularly for such updates and necessary actions required from your end.
